Interest score is the default sort because it's the broadest signal of market awareness. But the table includes engagement ratio for a reason. If I were evaluating these products, I'd re-sort by engagement in my head. The products with the highest engagement-to-interest ratio tend to be the ones that delivered on their promise.
Because interest score measures initial attention, not quality. A 300-interest product with 0.50 engagement ratio has a small, obsessed audience. That's usually a better sign than 3,000 interest with 0.08 engagement, which screams 'great marketing, thin product.'
