One of the first apps to implement the Nostr protocol — with significant backing from Jack Dorsey and Ed Snowden — I've used Damus a few times and so far my impression is that this class of product sacrifices an enormous amount of usability and approachability in favor of security, decentralization, and censorship resistance. That's not to say that this kind of product can't evolve rapidly with a focus on usability now that it's landed in the App Store , but this seems to be akin to the Tor prot
So pumped to see Damus live in the app store. I've been using Nostr for a few weeks now and it's social media the way it was meant to be.
