GlobeFlix addresses the problem of different catalogues across distinct countries on streaming platforms by allowing users to find the intersection of movies / TV series between two countries, while offering search tools to find something users want to watch.

Before talking about the app itself, I wanted to share the story behind how it was conceived and developed: GlobeFlix was born out of a struggle I used to have with my partner when we were in a long-distance relationship. She was in Egypt, while I was in the UK in 2020 and 2021.
