Do you want to set the Dock a bit bigger when connected to your big monitor? Or hide the dock only when you're on your laptop? Or maybe move the Dock to the Left when you have multiple displays connected? Me too

What the Community Said

Hi friends, I built this little dingus because I wanted to have my macOS Dock visible with big icons on my large external display, but smaller and hidden when I was on my laptop — I was shocked that I couldn't do this natively, so I built HiDock.

Shocked this isn't already built into macOS. Also I love the "lickable" buttons on the website :)

Exactly what I need regularly as I use my MBP on the left of a larger monitor and keep my dock on the left of my screen BUT don’t want it on the smaller monitor.

Frequently Asked Questions

A measure of community engagement at launch. Higher means more people noticed and interacted with the product. It's a traction signal, not a quality rating.

Discussion threads divided by interest score. Above 0.30 is strong. Below 0.15 suggests the product got clicks but not conversation.

Categories come from the product's launch tags. Most products appear in 2-3 categories. The primary category is listed first.

The scores reflect launch-period engagement. Historical data is preserved and doesn't change retroactively. The build date at the bottom shows when the index was last refreshed.
