What the Community Said

Hey product hunter! I made this website called 'LanguageWorldMap'. Here's why I did it: I recently travelled to Angola - a country in west Africa - and was intrigued to learn that the language most commonly spoken is Portuguese. The friend I've travelled with explained, that the languages of the world are still very much shaped by the history of colonialism. As such, I wanted to create a map that visualizes - as good as possible - all languages spoken. You can imagine this as a 'mini-wikipedia'
