What the Community Said

Hi @akash_khanolkar1 really interesting product and definitely solving a need. A couple questions: 1) Do you default to # of API requests and amount of storage provisioned or do you have other usage options? 2) Do you find your customers' customers are open to these usage based pricing models? Depending on customer audience, billing based on API request or similar engineering level usage metric could be unintuitive and daunting for a potential customer.

This looks great and most important the value is described really well. There are so many billing products out there but with Octane I immediately understood how it was different and why I would use it.

So exciting! I’ve talked to many startups where they can’t yet monetize because they’re waiting on billing infrastructure. Now they don’t need to — they can just use Octane 🔥

Frequently Asked Questions

A measure of community engagement at launch. Higher means more people noticed and interacted with the product. It's a traction signal, not a quality rating.

Discussion threads divided by interest score. Above 0.30 is strong. Below 0.15 suggests the product got clicks but not conversation.

Categories come from the product's launch tags. Most products appear in 2-3 categories. The primary category is listed first.

The scores reflect launch-period engagement. Historical data is preserved and doesn't change retroactively. The build date at the bottom shows when the index was last refreshed.
