Even though dating apps have never been for me, it's undeniable that they're becoming the new norm - at least in my generation and culture. Using voice clips is a fantastic idea; it's how I communicate with a few friends. There's so much more information pack within a sound recording compared to a text. No more guessing tone-of-voice!
