Hey @jaysquaredcom,👋 love the map initiative, it's incredibly useful for all the travel enthusiasts out there! 🌍Your method of filtering locations based on the number of hotels is ingenious.🏨👏 Perhaps, an integration of user reviews from popular travel sites (Airbnb, TripAdvisor) could enrich the data and add another layer of quality assurance.💡 And for defining a rainy season, maybe NOAA's data could be of help? Keep up the incredible work! Upvoting this gem right away.👍🚀

I found a global data set with 3500 locations. The main challenge was to filter this data. One approach was to get the number of hotels in a certain radius via Amadeus and filter out all locations with less than 3 hotels. I put it quite low as I didn't want to filter out too much. I also manually checked all locations for duplicates and assigned the correct Google Flights location to include a quick link to a flight search. Let me know if you have any further ideas on how to filter the locations

Pro tip (I know, everyone knows this already): Miami winters are gorgeous.

It's great for people that are nomads or have specific time frame for a vacation period and would like to know "where to travel to", given a month. For people that want to know "what's the weather like in X place in month Y" then it's harder to look up because there's no way to search a city/country by text 😅 so you might want to add that feature in. However, I've been using a simple google search to solve these problems fo
