YouTube and Spotify make terrible podcast apps. You can't even import OPML feeds of your subscriptions or access password-protected custom feeds. Most independent podcast apps support this core functionality and hell, even Google and Apple Podcasts support that! DO NOT SUPPORT YOUTUBE AND SPOTIFY FOR PODCASTING! They are trying to control the podcast ecosystem, which is bad for everyone!
YouTube getting into podcasts in order for Google to better monetize them is a big deal, considering that Twitter just did the same thing .
So YouTube just made a channel called "Podcasts" and showing all the videos related to podcasts... Got it. What a lazy attempt LOL
