Awesome product! I love working/studying/reading at coffee shops all over Los Angeles. I find myself obsessively reading Yelp reviews and looking at images to glean details like: what’s the WiFi situation? What’s the seating setup? Do people study here or just hang out? Cascara has all that info tagged and so it’s MUCH easier to use compared to Yelp. Would love to see this in San Diego!
Great idea; do you plan to expand to other cities? I find I’m always going to the same coffee shop because I know it has fast wifi and a great working environment. This would really help me find new places to go!
As a cafe enthusiast I am grateful for remote work allowing me to work from any cafe I choose. I spend a lot of time searching for places with a peaceful ambience, covid-safe outdoor seating, and a plenty of outlets of course. Apps like Yelp don't make it easy to search for these specific options and in the back of my mind I always thought an extra filter or two would be convenient.
