I come from a family of DIYers. Growing up, my parents were always doing everything around the house. So when I bought my first home, I started doing all sorts of DIY projects: painting rooms, swapping out light fixtures, replacing my garbage disposal etc. I'm no expert though so I rarely made it through a project without getting stuck.
