When I finally realized crypto was a 'thing' backing in 2017 I quickly learned that being your own bank came with the responsibility of managing your private keys. I was managing a portfolio for my extended family and some friends because they didn't understand the crypto space at that time. In addition to the hardened backup and recovery solution (hiding your keys is not a security plan), I'm introducing an automated Deadman Switch. Pass your crypto assets to friends and family after you pass away. Let's face it - we don't know when the end is coming. Best to have a plan. Set it, forget it.
