I lost a friend to smoking. That's why today, I'm launching GoQuitSmoking. A project born from a mix of personal loss and hope. Seeing my friends and family battle with smoking made me realize the urgent need for change. Inspired by Peter Level's GoFuckingDoIt, this app is my heart's response to help others quit smoking. That's exactly the app many people I know would need. I heard so often "I'll quit smoking" but after a few days they threw this promise away. I like the idea of betting money on yourself, this gives these people a higher level of commitment.

Congrats on the launch! Such a simple yet powerful idea. There are a few things I'd change about this. The wording "bet on ..." suggests there will be a reward if you win the bet, and I totally get that quitting smoking, a healthier life, save money on cigarettes, are all great rewards, but that's not how bets usually work. Maybe pool the losers money and distribute it among the winners? I would also love a daily check-in, where you can be reminded what you're doing and why. I used 21habit for t
