Automate merge workflows for GitHub, manage queues in teams
MergeQueue is a dev-tool that automates pre-merge tasks on Github like updating to the latest version of master, waiting for approvals and CI test results etc. It also eliminates build failures entirely, ensuring *always-green* builds (!!!!) on master/main.
Hey PH! Merge queues are used internally at companies like Uber, Shopify, Quora and many others. So when we found ourselves building one for our own use, we thought “why not make this available to every eng team?” And here we are! MergeQueue saves engineers tons of time on every merge by automating common pre-merge tasks (like updating to master, waiting for approvals, waiting for CI tests etc). It also eliminates broken master/main builds entirely! This means having a release-ready main branch
