Neptunes is awesome. Been using it for a while. Love it
Woah. Looks super cool! The hotkeys definitely seem useful. Do you think you could also give us some feedback on Spade - we also launched today!
I wrote the first version of the app in 2014 for OS X Yosemite – it was supposed to be Last.fm scrobbler that looked nice on Retina display and fit Yosemite's design language. And now? People use it for different reasons – some for the global hotkeys that allow to control playback and rate tracks, some for the Last.fm integration (and because it's the most reliable scrobbler on the market) and some for the widget, because they like to have a glanceable artwork on the desktop. I personally use it
I remember I used to use an app called SkipTunes , but it hasn't been updated in ages. NepTunes looks like a solid, modern replacement — including Last.fm scrobbling!
Categories come from the product's launch tags. Most products appear in 2-3 categories. The primary category is listed first.
The scores reflect launch-period engagement. Historical data is preserved and doesn't change retroactively. The build date at the bottom shows when the index was last refreshed.
Check the similar products section on this page, or browse the category pages linked in the tags above. Each category page shows all products for a given year, sorted by engagement.
A measure of community engagement at launch. Higher means more people noticed and interacted with the product. It's a traction signal, not a quality rating.
