Hi everyone, I'm super excited to bring QBell to product hunt. This is a platform that we have been working on for some time, and was really the result of us seeing the imbalance between the demand for Smart Doorbell functionality, and the barriers that traditional hardware puts in the way. We wanted QBell to be a sustainable, low-friction alternative that really opens up the possibilities for making Smart Doorbell interfaces more useful to more people.
Love this. Fed up of people digging my door bell when I'm on zooms and then the dog going nuts. So this is perfect if I can answer from my desk and tell them what to do.
As someone who works from home and constantly has my doorbell ring during meetings (often for parcel delivery for another flat) and can't jump up to answer or ask the delivery person to not ring 5 times if no one answers, being able to just ping back a message on my phone and not have a loud interruption for a meeting has been a massive help for me. I don't like the idea of something like Ring capturing video and this is a great and cost-effective alternative. Hope it becomes mainstream!
This is an innovative product. I ordered a unit and my whole family & I have loved using it. We use the group chat function as we work hybridly with some of us working from home and some in an office. It means we can always keep track of things being delivered to the house no matter where we are and keep track of visitors to the house. The simplicity of this product means we’ve easily integrated using the app & the unit into our daily routines.
