shortie[sic] is a dead simple url shortener that was designed to be a privacy-respecting alternative to services like tinyurl and bit.ly. It has out-of-the-box support for self-hosted instances and has even has a CLI!

Tried it out and works like a charm. Super simple, I like it :) Could you elaborate on what tinyurl and bit.ly are doing which you are not?

I love the CLI option. Could you elaborate more on the "privacy-respecting", please!

I wrote this very simple url shortener to be an alternative to bloated programs like tinyurl and bit.ly. It's dead-simple and privacy respecting, as well as being open-source and self hostable! The website also has builtin support for self-hosted instances via a settings pane.
