Hello. I'm the co-founder of wordlecup.io, along with @meharsonatrip. This is the first game we've ever built, driven by a desire to have a competitive Wordle to play with friends. Our target word dictionary is a curated set of 25k choices from Peter Norvig's list of the most common English words. This makes WordleCup refreshingly different from the NYT Wordle experience. It's nice to play a tournament, but the algorithm for managing players is flawed. Frequently, when I try a 'find a game', I get assigned to a game already in progress, but I join it at a later round - for example 3rd round - and the earlier players have their previous scores from earlier rounds whereas I start at zero. This is unfair; it makes it hard to win. Furthermore, if there are no other players, it makes it a game of one, which is stupid as I can play single games anywhere. The algorithm
