When Microsoft open-sourced Markitdown, I immediately deployed a website(markitdown.tools )to test and experience it. However, I found the results weren't particularly impressive, and there weren't any new conversion technologies. So later I shut down the Python service. Recently, I've decided to relaunch this website. I've reimplemented the markitdown functionality on the browser side and relaunched it under a new name, free to use.
Markdown in the frontend means no privacy worries. Smart move! 🔒
