My experience serendipitously matches Barry's (one of the creators) journey with blogging. I've tried dozens of blogging platforms and tools, from wordpress to static-site generation, minimal styles to fully-customizable, etc. Pika came at just the right time when I felt reinvigorated to blog, and for a two months, it's hit all the right notes for me. Pika is a great blogging software that offers all the essential features required to start writing or posting immediately. It's the perfect platform for those who are looking for a user-friendly space to express their ideas without the need to delve into the complexities of CSS or other technical aspects that I am sure people can relate to using other software. Not to mention it was create but a great group of people that you can tell care about create good products.
I searched for many years for good enough software for my blog. I tried everything: static-site generators, every indieweb blogging darling, and even hand-coded HTML.
